Angelica will present at the 2018 Clinical Aphasiology Conference
Undergraduate student Angelica Hutchinson has been accepted to attend the 2018 Clinical Aphasiology Conference, to report on her research project.
Angelica has compared the quality of various methods of automated acoustic analysis of (disordered) speech, as we work towards establishing a fully automated speech analysis system for speakers with aphasia. Such a system should output critical acoustic values that help diagnose speakers with aphasia and track progress and treatment outcome, based on their speech. The conference will be held in Austin TX, May 22-26, and offers a great opportunity to learn more about the field of aphasiology and speech-language pathology in general. Texas, look out!
